For
Consumers: A Glove With a Magnetic Ball Mark That Looks Good and
Really Works
Magnetic ball mark gloves have been around for a while. The difference
in this glove is that the magnet is in the tab closure (the hook
and loop tab that secure the glove on the hand). It's a powerful
magnet that holds the ball mark in position. Even if you should
lose the ball mark, the glove looks fine with the attractive VF
logo printed on the area where the metallic ball mark would be
placed. Players can even substitute other metallic ball marks
from ball fixers or hat clips, etc. if they so choose. The magnet
in the tab is so strong it will accept any size ball mark.
Depending on where and how you purchase your Valley Forge golf
glove, you may select an attractive VF (valley Forge) logo ball
mark or a customized ball mark with a specialized logo on it.
If you are interested in a customized ball mark read further for
details about the program. It is offered to the golf trades but
also to corporations and organizations who are interested. See
the trade portion of this screen or call directly
for more information.
Gloves will
be available through various channels of distribution including
on-course golf shops, off-course specialty golf retailers and
sporting goods stores, direct marketing catalogers, corporate
sales as premiums and incentives and mass retail markets including
discounters and department stores. A trade PR and postcard campaign
will support trade sales nationally and through mid-Atlantic states.

Valley
Forge Launches New Magnetic Glove Ball Mark Programs With a Twist
The use of magnets
and ball marks on golf gloves is not really new. The inventive
twist that Valley Forge has added is that they have created a
universal magnetized closure tab on their gloves that will accept
virtually any type of metallic ball mark.
For instance, manufacturers of Divot Repair (tools) fixers who
have ball marks attached; hat clips with ball marks; money clips
with ball marks all require golf clubs and organizations to purchase
a minimum quantity of die-cast ball marks. Now they can use any
excess ball marks on Valley Forge Golf Gloves. The process of
die-casting ball marks usually requires a minimum order of 250
or 500 pieces.
The Valley Forge tab works because the magnet is embedded in the
glove's closure tab, the tab on the back of the glove that has
the hook and loop closure material sewn to it. There is no recessed
area to house the ball mark and therefore the ball mark itself
can be any size, 3/4" or 1" is most common. This is
possible because Valley Forge uses an extremely powerful magnet
that holds its place without needing to be recessed like other
glove manufacturers have used in the past.
Now golf clubs, driving ranges, event planners, corporations,
clubs, resorts, organizations of all kinds can use Valley Forge
Golf Gloves to complement ball mark programs that they already
have in place.
Valley Forge offers the complete Customized Ball Mark Program
as well. Buyers can purchase a minimum of 150 customized ball
marks emblazoned with their logo or message and order as many
accompanying Valley Forge Golf Gloves as they need. There are
two popular glove models in the program to choose from: The
All-Weather Synthetic Golf Glove and the Traditional Cabretta Leather
Golf Glove.
For those customers who don't want a customized ball mark, Valley
Forge offers its All-weather and Traditional Cabretta gloves with a simple antique finish VF logo ball
mark. They are priced less than the Custom Ball Mark Program but
all the other features of the gloves remain the same.
Valley Forge Sports, Inc. manufactures and markets Valley Forge
